Michael Jordan Born in 1972 in Erlangen, Germany. Lives and works as an illustration artist and graphic printer in Erlangen. Studied Media Illustration in Hamburg, followed by Printmaking at the University of Applied Art in Vienna. In 1999, he won 1st prize at the International Comix Competition Fumetto (Luzern, Switzerland); in 2002 he was a UNESCO scholarship holder at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Since 2003 he has been working together with the artist group Tonto Comics from Graz. From 2008 to 2010 he taught Illustration at HfG Offenbach. From 2013 to 2014 he taught Drawing and Printmaking at Middlebury College, Vermont USA. In 2017 he was Styria Artist in Residence, Graz.
